In the midst of all that is going on , there is the planning of an event to honor your loved one who has passed. My support goes out to you and your loved ones as you travel through this period of time. Most people in our culture chose not to speak about death or their wishes in the event of death. If your loved one shared their wishes with you, you have been honored deeply by that action. This makes so many small and important choices bearable. You know what they wanted. The majority of us are working off of fragments of memories and conversations that we have had with our beloved. We sometimes have to speak with many members of the family to figure out what they wanted. Sometimes, the beloved spoke to no one at all. Then, we are left with choosing for that person as best as possible. I am available for you as an Interfaith Minister. I honor and represent all faiths and paths in life. When you know that your beloved did not want a traditional event in a traditional church or synagogue or temple, where do you go and what do you do? Please consider my services for your home, funeral home or other non-traditional place. I will create an event that will fully represent your beloved and the family. |
